Call for abstracts for the 18th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology

ECCN invites you to submit an abstract for the 18th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology. Accepted abstracts will be presented in either a Poster Session or an Oral communication Session
Abstract Information and guidelines
Please carefully read the Abstract Guidelines below before submitting an abstract. Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through this web page.
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correctly edited and accurate abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author.
Abstracts will be rejected if they contain no data or if the English is unacceptable. All Presenting Authors will receive detailed presentation guidelines when their abstract has been accepted and closer to the Congress.
- Every abstract submission will be made online on the website eccn2021-marseille.com : no submission by mail, fax or email will be accepted.
- The Selection Committee can refuse abstracts which don't respect the criteria.
- The author accepts that his abstract, once accepted, will be presented (orally or on poster) and that it won't be possible, once accepted, to ask for its removal.
- Deadline for the abstract submission: May 5, 2021.
- The abstract must be written and presented in English.
- Abstracts must contain original data and meet international ethical standards.
- Case reports that include findings that are significant and have applied appropriate statistical and analytical methods will be considered.
- Previously published and presented abstracts can be submitted.
- A maximum of 250 words is allowed for the abstract text.
- The abstract title must be in sentence case with no full stop at the end and no underlining.
- Tables and graphs should not be included in the abstract.
- References (maximum of 2) can be included in the body of the text.
- The abstract title and the author(s) or names of institutions are not to be included in the abstract text.
- Standard abbreviations may be employed in the text. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full wording at the first time the full wording appears in the body of the text.
- Non-proprietary (generic) names of drugs, written in lower case, are required at the first mention of a drug.
- Trade names are not allowed.
In order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please provide :
- A brief statement of the purpose of the study
- The method used
- The result observed
- The conclusions based upon the results

First author/presenting author/ co-authors
Write the name of the first author (surname, name, email, affiliation, [in the 'Affiliation' field, thank you to precise your hospital, your campus or, by default your specialty], City, Country). The affiliation's number will be "1" and check the case "Main author" or "Speaker". The information relative to the abstract will be sent to the first author (who submit the abstract). Click on "New Co-Author" if you want to add co-authors (10 max). It involved that you've the co-authors' authorization.
Acknowledgement of the receipt of abstract submission will be sent to the Presenting Author's email address immediately upon submission. In addition, all communication in regards to the Scientific Program, acceptance and presentation will be communicated using the Presenting Author’s email.
To submit
1) Access to your personal depositary space:
- If you already have an account please write your login below;
- If you haven't an account yet, you can get one by clicking on "create your depositary space"
2) Choose "New abstract".
3) Follow carefully the guidelines and fill out the abstract form
4) You can now preview and save in the drafts your abstract, to modify it before the validation.
5) To submit your abstract, you have to click on "Submission", from this moment, you won't be able to make any modification from your depositary space.
