GUIDELINES ABSTRACTS

Important points :
- Only submit your abstract once. If your abstract isn’t selected as an oral presentation, it will automatically be considered for a poster presentation.
- All accepted abstracts will appear in the congress app and the IATDMCT SFPT 2026 website
- You may submit multiple abstracts.
- You will receive an email confirming receipt of your submission.
- For the abstract to be definitely accepted, at least one of the authors should be registered to the congress
Key dates:
- Submission deadline: March 1st
- Notification of acceptance: April 2026
- Reminder early registration deadline: June 26th
Presentation types :
- Oral Presentation : 7 minutes, with 3 minutes for questions
- Poster presentation : one-day exhibition
- Discussed posters : poster presented as one-slide presentation, 3 minutes and 2 minutes for questions
Submission instructions:
- Create an account on the abstract submission portal.
- Enter your abstract directly into the provided text box.
- Do not include title, author names, or affiliations in the abstract text box. These are captured in separate fields of the form.
- You will receive a confirmation email after submission.

Structured abstract in 300 words
- Introduction

To be considered for this award, please provide the following information in the IATDMCT abstract submission platform section:
- Check the appropriate box
- Provide your birth date

Unstructured abstract, 300 words :
- Abstract: explain what has changed the practice
- Reference(s) (optional field not counted in the 300-word limit)
- Keywords (optional field not counted in the 300-word limit)
- SFPT members ONLY: PhD award
Submit an unstructured abstract of your entire doctoral thesis (maximum 150 words, in English)
IMPORTANT REMINDER: To be eligible for a PhD Award, you must be a member of the SFPT and have defended a thesis in 2025, or be enrolled in your third or fourth year with a defence scheduled for
2026. Only university doctoral theses are eligible. Practice theses (in medicine or pharmacy) are not eligible.
- SFPT members ONLY : Master’s degree award
- Submit an unstructured abstract of 1,000 words in English.
- References (optional field not counted in the 1,000 words).
- Keywords (optional field not counted in the 1,000 words).
Optional: you can upload one PDF file including a maximum of two figures or tables (i.e. two figures, two tables, one figure and one table, or one figure and one table).
IMPORTANT: Submitting an abstract for the Thesis or M2 Award only allows you to apply for these awards and does not constitute submission of an abstract to the conference. To submit an oral or poster presentation based on your thesis or M2 work, you must also submit your abstract in the “Oral
or poster” (single or moderated) or “poster” category.
Review criteria:
All abstracts undergo a review process. Reviewers consider:
- Scientific merit and originality
- Relevance to the field of Therapeutic drug monitoring including pharmacogenetics, Clinical toxicology, Clinical trials, Methodology, Pharmacovigilance, Addictovigilance, Pharmacoepidemiology and/or Therapeutics
- Relevance to the congress theme (Precision medicine: moving from legend to reality)
- Methodology and study design
- Quality of analytical approach
- Clarity of objectives and hypotheses
- Potential impact on clinical practice or future research
- Practical applicability of results
- Presentation quality (structure, language, adherence to abstract guidelines)
