Abstract submission instructions

Instructions for Authors – Myology 2027

Welcome to your member space.

To submit an abstract, click on “New abstract” and select the relevant conference.

Once your abstract has been submitted, you may submit another abstract by repeating the same process.

• Clicking "Submit" triggers a confirmation message and email, this confirms receipt only, not acceptance.
• No confirmation in one week? Email myology@ant-congres.com.
• Abstracts are final once submitted, no edits after submission. Proof read carefully.
• Registration is separate: submitting an abstract does not register you for the conference.

1. Type of presentation: authors should indicate their preference: oral communication, poster presentation, or no preference.
   
   If the oral communication option is selected, the submitting author will be asked to indicate which author will present.
   
   The final decision on the presentation format will be made by the Scientific Committee.
2. Topic category: authors must select two categories for each abstract.
   
   The first category should reflect the main programme topic or session area. The second category should identify the main pathology, group of pathologies, or cross-disease focus addressed in the abstract.
   
   The Scientific Committee may reassign abstracts to a different category if necessary.

• The abstract title should be concise and clearly reflect the content of the abstract. The title is limited to 300 characters.
• The body of the abstract must not exceed 2,500 characters, including spaces.
• The abstract should be structured into the following sections: Introduction, Results and Conclusion.
• Standard abbreviations may be used. Any unusual abbreviation should be defined in brackets at first mention.
• Authors may include only one figure, table or illustration. Figures must be submitted as JPG files and must not exceed 7 cm in width.
• Equations may be inserted either as images or using the “Add formula” option.

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a Scientific Committee composed of international experts in the field.

Accepted abstracts will be assigned to one of the following presentation formats:

• If a selected presenting author (oral or poster) cannot attend, he/she should find a substitute and inform the Myology2027 secretariat of this replacement in due time.
• Posters can be viewed by the participants during lunchtime and coffee breaks.
• Please note: A Poster Tour will be held on Wednesday, May 12, from 12:00 to 14:00, according to the following schedule:

• Posters should be removed on Thursday, May 13 at 14:00.
