Martijn Tannemaat

 

Dr Martijn Tannemaat is a Neurologist/Clinical Neurophysiologist at Leiden University Medical Center since 2014. He is the head of the Clinical Neurophysiology department and vice chair of the LUMC Neurology residency programme. His main clinical specialty is the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neuromuscular diseases, in particular myasthenia gravis. His research interests include the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of myasthenia gravis, novel “big data” approaches towards the analysis of clinical neurophysiology data and the application of gene therapy for the treatment of nerve injuries.
