DEPONT Chantal

 

Professor in the Epilepsy clinic of the Department of Neurology of the Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles (H.U.B), and Lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium.

She has an MD and diploma in clinical neurology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium and obtained a PhD in Medicine at the Institute of Neurology, University College London (UCL), United Kingdom.

She is an active member of several international research consortia in the field of epilepsy genetics and pharmacogenetics, as well as in various national and international professional societies. She acted as president of the Belgian Neurological Society from 2020-2021.

She (co)authored over 120 publications in international peer-review journals.
