Colin Josephson
Colin Josephson MD, MSc (physiology), MSc (epidemiology), FRCPC, CSCN (EEG) is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary and an Honorary Associate Professor of Health Informatics at University College London. He is the Associate Director of the Centre for Health Informatics and a member of the O'Brien Institute for Public Health and Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the University of Calgary. His major research interest has been the application of ‘Big Data’ and advanced analytics to better understand epidemiology and prediction problems in epilepsy. He is chair of the ILAE’s Big Data Task Force and leads the CANadian Observational study of Epilepsy (CANOE), which aims to promote local and national data linkage schemes combining clinical, administrative, neuroimaging, neurophysiology, and genomic data.
