Sandrine Andrieu is a physician and professor of public health, chair of the Clinical Epidemiology and Public Health Department at Toulouse University Hospital and adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico (USA).

Since 2009, she has been responsible for the aging research team at the Center for Epidemiology and Research in Population Health. She served as director of the research center for Epidemiology and Research in Population Health (formerly UMR1027; CERPOP UMR1295 Inserm) from 2011 to 2020. She has published more than 300 international papers and book chapters in the field of aging. She was involved in large prevention studies in the field of neurodegenerative disease (GuidAge, MAPT) and in European projects including HATICE, MIND-AD and PRODEMOS. Her main research focus is the prevention of age-related loss of function and healthy aging. She is the past president of the French National Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology. As a member of IHU HealthAge, she is responsible for large preventive trials.

UNLV research professor Jeffrey L. Cummings is a neurologist globally recognized for his contributions to Alzheimer's research, drug development, and clinical trials. He serves as the Joy Chambers-Grundy Professor of Brain Science and Director of the Chambers-Grundy Center for Transformative Neuroscience at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine's Department of Brain Health.

Dr. Cummings leads the UNLV Clinical Trials Observatory, the world's only research observatory devoted exclusively to analyzing the pipeline of Alzheimer's drugs in clinical trials to better inform drug development decisions. He also heads a biomarker observatory, which captures and categorizes emerging information on blood tests, brain scans, and digital devices related to Alzheimer's disease.

Prior to joining UNLV in 2019, Dr. Cummings served as founding director of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, as well as two UCLA entities: the Mary S. Easton Center for Alzheimer's Disease Research and the Deane F. Johnson Center for Neurotherapeutics.

Named a “Rock Star of Science” by Gentleman's Quarterly, Dr. Cummings, a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, has published 43 books and more than 900 peer-reviewed articles on neuropsychiatry, Alzheimer's disease, and clinical trials.

His numerous recognitions for scientific and leadership contributions include the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry's Distinguished Scientist Award, the Melvin R. Goodes Prize for Excellence in Drug Development from the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation, the Society for Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology's Lifetime Achievement Award, and the national Alzheimer's Association's Bengt Winblad Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024, he was ranked by ScholarGPS as the world's top scholar for his lifetime contributions in the areas of dementia and drug development.

Cath Mummery is a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She is chair of the NIHR Dementia Translational Research Collaboration, building a national unified trials network for early phase clinical trials and working with the Mission to accelerate and enhance dementia translational research in novel treatments.

She is Head of Clinical Trials at the Dementia Research Centre at University College London, and Deputy Director for the Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre. She has been chief investigator on over 20 early phase drug trials of potential disease modifying agents in sporadic Alzheimer's disease (AD), and genetic forms of AD and frontotemporal dementia.

As clinical lead for the UCL Neurogenetic Therapies Programme, she leads a programme of innovative collaboration between industry and academia to accelerate progress in genetic therapies in dementia.

Her driving ambition is to ensure we not only have treatments that can alter the course of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, but that we can deliver them promptly, safely and equitably.

Prof Tan Chorh Chuan was appointed the Chairman of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) on 1st October 2023. He is concurrently the Chairman of the MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT). He has been appointed Alternate Member of the Council of Presidential Advisers on 1st September 2026.

Prof Tan was the Permanent Secretary (National Research and Development) and Permanent Secretary (Public Sector Science and Technology Policy and Plans Office), Prime Minister's Office, from 1st October 2023 to 31st August 2026. In these capacities, he led the development of the Research Innovation and Enterprise 2030 plan, and the strengthening of science and engineering capabilities in the public service.

He was the inaugural Chief Health Scientist and founding Executive Director of the new Office for Healthcare Transformation in Singapore's Ministry of Health from 1st January 2018 to 30th September 2023. He was also the Chair of MOH's Healthier SG Implementation Office till 2024.

He served as the President of the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2017, and held the positions of NUS Provost, then Senior Deputy President from 2004 to 2008. He was previously the Dean of the NUS Faculty of Medicine and served as the Director of Medical Services, Ministry of Health from 2000 to 2004, in which capacity he was responsible for leading the public health response to the 2003 SARS epidemic. He was also the Chairman of the Board of the National University Health System from 2011 to 2018.
