“I am an assistant professor at Radboud University, associate Principal Investigator at the Donders Centre for Cognition and junior Principal Investigator at Radboud University Medical Centre and Donders Centre for Medical Neuroscience.

My research focuses on the neuropsychology and neurophysiology of language in healthy adults and in neurological populations with language impairment. Specifically, I study the neuronal mechanisms enabling us to speak and what happens to those mechanisms following brain damage. I examine this using an multidisciplinary approach, bridging across the domains of language, memory, and executive functioning. Electrophysiology plays a central role in my research.”
