Serge Vulliémoz

 

Serge Vulliemoz, MD, PhD, is a clinical neurophysiologist and epileptologist. He is associate professor and epilepsy consultant at the University Hospitals of Geneva Switzerland and a board member of the Swiss Society for Clinical Neurophysiology. He is the leader of the Epilepsy and Brain Network Lab at the University of Geneva and his main research focuses on the mapping of epileptic activity, in terms of sources and networks. His research methods include high density EEG, EEG-fMRI and simultaneous scalp and intracranial recordings as well as analyses based on source imaging and functional connectivity. His research has been awarded several international awards, including the Young Investigator Award of the International League against Epilepsy and the Epilepsia Open Journal Prize 2019.
