TONI PEARSON

 

Toni Pearson is Associate Professor of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she directs the program for Pediatric Movement Disorders and Cerebral Palsy. Originally from Australia, Toni obtained an undergraduate degree in music and her medical degree from the University of Adelaide, and then pursued postgraduate residency and fellowship training in child neurology and movement disorders at Columbia University in New York.   She currently collaborates with Dr. Krystof Bankiewicz on an NIH-sponsored clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of targeted midbrain gene transfer for pediatric patients with aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AADC) deficiency.
