Alec AEBY MD,PhD, Child Neurology and Epilepsy.

I am a Child Neurologist and Epileptologist. I am head of the pediatric neurology department and conducting the epilepsy program at “Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles” (HUB). My clinical and research activities are focused on pediatric epilepsy and its treatments. The epilepsy program at HUB, Brussels is offering innovative treatments for refractory patients (ketogenic diet, surgery, precision medicine).

I am also Lecturer at “Université Libre de Bruxelles-ULB” and conducting research activities on epilepsy and cognition at the « Unité de Neuropsychologie et de Neuroimagerie Fonctionnelle (UR2NF) », faculté des sciences psychologiques et de l’éducation, ULB.

I am past-president of the Belgian Society of Pediatric Neurology.
