OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
• Identifying pathologies likely to benefit from multidisciplinary consultation
• Recognizing the key elements for creating a Multidisciplinary Consultation Meeting (MCM)
• Improving patient care pathways
• Performing multidimensional evaluations of apneic patients to propose personalized treatment
• Recognizing the indications for drug-induced sleep endoscopy
• Optimizing conventional treatments (CPAP, MASs, positional)
• Suggesting alternative treatments (physical therapy, ENT surgery, orthognathic surgery, XII stimulation)
• Taking into account the diagnostic and therapeutic specificities of sleep-related breathing disorders in children.
• Determining the role of the occlusal plane and of muscle strength in the masticatory system and TMDs
• Understanding the basics of the clinical examination in physical therapy and identifying the etiologies for which re-education is a good option
• Determining the role of neuromotor reprogramming in interdisciplinary therapy
• Recognizing the role of PRP and Botox in the interdisciplinary therapeutic arsenal for TMJ pathologies
• Evaluating and screening patients at risk of TMJ dysfunction in order to provide them with better advice on what to do when symptoms appear and/or recur
