Super Session 5 - Oncology goes Digital: novel partnerships for patient-centered solutions
•
Plenary Room A3
Hosted by Oslo Cancer Cluster
In Oncology, the complexity faced by researchers, clinicians, biopharmaceutical companies, patients and payers is immense. The massive and rapidly growing amounts of molecular and clinical data are being exploited in new ways and create new opportunities for drug development, optimized treatment and patient-centered decision-making. Non-traditional players like Google, Apple, IBM and SAP and new products including real-time diagnostic nano-sensors, wearables, wireless devices, mobile applications enter the pharma sector. International experts representing both, traditional and non-traditional players will present how big pharma is embracing digital health partners, highlight recent trends and projects from the Nordics and discuss how digitalisation will affect the oncology space for the benefit of patients.
