The EC Meeting will take place at the City Center Vieux Port, 2 rue Henri Barbusse, 13001 Marseille on Friday November 19 and Saturday November 20 afternoons from 12 :45 am CEST to 17:30 pm (it is possible to come earlier on Saturday morning at the meeting place, the agenda can be agreed on that point on Friday afternoon). This place is close to the metro stations « Vieux Port » and « Colbert » on line 1 and also accessible (slightly longer walk) from « Noailles » station (line 2).
The IUVSTA Highlights will take place on Monday November 22 morning as a special session of EVC16 ; the access is free for the participants of the ECM135.
Still on Monday November 22, the lunch will be taken at the conference, and there will be transfer to ITER by coach and visit in the afternoon (departure at the Congress Center at 1 :30 pm exactly). The return from ITER is scheduled at about 6 :30 pm in Marseille center (the stop place can be agreed with the driver).
For the ITER visit, it is necessary to fill the security file attached to this message and to send it back to Sylvie Bourgeois.
As ECM135 is not hosted in a particular hotel, the choice of the hotels is up to you for accommodation. It is possible howerver to recommend Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux Port, which has a direct connection with the City Center Vieux Port Hôtel 4 étoiles à Marseille - Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux-Port - ALL (accor.com). There is a lot of other hotels in this popular area of Marseille.
