9:00 - 11:00 a.m. :Focal seizures: how to use cortical stimulation to better understand clinical semiology (Philippe Kahane, France)
11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Coffee break
11:30 – 13:00 p.m. : Hypermotor seizures (Stefano Francione, Italy)
13:00 – 14:00 p.m. Lunch
14:00 – 15:30 p.m. : Opercular-Insular Epilepsy in Childhood (Michael Duchowny, USA)
15:30 – 17:00 p.m. : Versive seizures (Roberto Mai, Italy)
17:00 – 17:30 p.m. Coffee break
17:30 – 19:00 p.m. : Minimal Resective Surgery (Prasanna Jayakar, USA)
19:00 p.m. : End of Session
Each tutor will present their lesson showing video-EEGs or high teaching materials.
For each lesson the attendances will actively involved with the aim of making hypotheses about the location of the epileptogenic zone. An explanation of the different possible networks involved in the seizure type analyzed will be performed.
The course is designed in the format of practical training modules and it will be accredited.
Registration fee: € 200
For young attendees, under 35 years and for the EEG-EPIPED course learners, it will cost 100 euros.
