Thank you all for submitting your abstract.
The Scientific Committee has notified the authors of acceptance.
The SENP association invites you to submit an abstract to be considered for the SENP Scientific Program. Accepted abstracts will be presented in either thematic Poster sessions or Oral communications sessions.
Furthermore, twenty abstracts in line with the themes of the meeting will be selected by the Organizing Committee and published in Neuropediatrics, a highly respected Journal in the Pediatrics field.

Poster flash sessions: some posters will be selected by the Scientific Committee for a 3-minute oral presentation in the auditorium!
A / Abstract Information
Every abstract submission has to be made online at www.senp-neuropediatrie.eu
Please note that submissions outside of the online system will NOT be accepted
- The Selection Committee reserves the right to refuse abstracts that are not aligned with submission criteria / theme criteria.
- Please note that the Committee may change the choice of your presentation type according to the program format.
- We kindly remind you that the presenting author must be registered to the congress, if not, selected presentations will be removed from the program.
- Extended deadline to submit your abstract : January 12, 2020 at 11:59 pm GMT.
B / Abstract Guidelines
1) Access your personal abstract submission space:
- If you already have an account please enter your login below;
- If you do not have an account yet, create one by clicking on "create your depositary space"
2) Choose "New abstract".
3) Add your abstract title and select in the scroll-down menu:
- Selected presentation type (oral communication, clinical case discussion or poster). If your abstract is selected, the Scientific Committee will decine on the final type of presentation.
- Topic (1/Child's language in exceptional circumstances; 2/Paroxysmal episodes in young children; 3/Other).
Please carefully read the Abstract Guidelines below before submitting an abstract. Abstracts can only be submitted electronically.
It is the author's responsibility to submit a correctly edited and accurate abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as typed by the author.
All presenting authors will receive detailed presentation guidelines when their abstract has been accepted and closer to the Congress.
4) Write the name of the first author (first name, name, email, company, city, country). As the presenting author you must be in 1st position in the system and ensure you tick the box "Main author" or "Speaker". Any abstract-related correspondance will be sent to the first author (who submitted the abstract). Click on "New Co-Author" if you want to add co-authors (10 max).It implies that you previously secured their approval.
Confirmation of proper abstract submission will be sent to the presenting author's email address immediately upon submission. In addition, all correspondance in regards to the scientific program, acceptance and presentation will be communicated using the presenting author’s email.
5) Authors' guidelines:
- The abstract must be written and presented in English.
- Abstracts must contain original data and meet international ethics standards.
- Previously published and presented abstracts can be submitted.
- A maximum of 2,500 characters (approximately 400 words) is allowed for the abstract text.
- The abstract title must be in lower case with no full stop at the end and no underlining.
- The abstract title and authors' names or companies are not to be included in the abstract text.
Mandatory abstract format is:
- Objectives
- Content
- Conclusion
EXAMPLE
A) Objective: a statement of purpose of the study (preferably one sentence).
B) Content:
- A brief statement of the method used. For abstracts reporting clinical research, a sentence presenting the most important selection criteria for subjects should be included.
- A summary of results presented along with statistical analysis.
D) Conclusion: An explanation underlining why these results were found and their relevance to the field. It is not satisfactory to state, "Results will be discussed," or "other data will be presented," etc.
6) You can now preview and save as a draft your abstract, to update and before final validation.
7) To submit your abstract, you have to click on "Submission". From this moment on you will no longer be able to change anything.
8) Please note that any abstract left as "draft", i.e. not submitted will NOT be considered
